Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara was born in Romania and is now an actress from Germany and Romania. Her most well-known movies include Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Alexandra was the sole daughter of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu. When she was 16, she had already been offered a variety of television roles including the lead role in the Downfall film Youth Without Youth Control. She was praised for her role in Der Tunnel. This paved the way to other memorable parts, such as Adolf Hitler's secretary of state Traudl Junge. The other Oscar nominated films featuring the actress include The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex. Through the years, Alexandra has been involved in a variety of important international and national productions. Some of these include the British biographical movie Control, the Greek movie The Dust of Time, and French historical mini-series Napoleon. She was also an adjudicator at the Transylvania International Film Festival as well as The Cannes Film Festival.
