Christina Hendricks

Christina Hendricks was an American actress who is best known for her role as Joan Holloway. She played the role in seven seasons of the period comedy Mad Men from 2007-2015. Her role on Mad Men that earned Christina Hendricks 6 Emmy Awards in the category for Best Supporting Actress. Through her 20-year career she also gained recognition for her part in comedy drama Another Period, a crime thriller dubbed Tin Star. Her performances are noted in films such as Drive Ginger & Rosa Lost River, the Neon Demon, The Strangers : Prey at Night Egg, and American Woman. She also provided the voice of characters from films like Toy Story 4 Scoob!, Toy Story 4: Up on Poppy Hill and From Up on Poppy Hill. Prior to that, she started her career as a model and carried on for several years before her first appearance in the television program Undressed in 1999. Her first substantial role came in the comedy drama Beggars and Choosers following which she also received appreciation for her part in the hit show Firefly. Esquire magazine voted her as the most gorgeous woman in America and the most attractive woman in the world in the year 2010.
